Optimalisasi Layanan Publik untuk UMKM Berbasis Media, Informasi, dan Teknologi sebagai Pilar Ekonomi Indonesia
Abstract
Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pelayanan publik dalam mendukung sektor Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berbasis media, informasi, dan teknologi (MIT) sebagai pilar utama perekonomian Indonesia. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan metode partisipatif yang melibatkan aparatur pemerintah, pelaku UMKM, serta pakar teknologi informasi untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas layanan publik dalam memfasilitasi adopsi teknologi MIT oleh UMKM. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), dan observasi partisipatif pada instansi pemerintah dan komunitas UMKM di berbagai wilayah. Hasil Pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan publik masih menghadapi kendala dalam hal penyediaan akses informasi dan pelatihan yang tepat guna bagi pelaku UMKM, terutama dalam pemanfaatan teknologi MIT. Meskipun terdapat program pemerintah yang mendukung digitalisasi UMKM, efektivitasnya belum optimal akibat kurangnya koordinasi antara instansi terkait dan minimnya pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap teknologi. Namun, melalui peningkatan kapasitas aparatur dan program pelatihan yang lebih terstruktur, potensi UMKM untuk berkembang melalui teknologi MIT dapat meningkat secara signifikan. Simpulan dari Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah optimalisasi pelayanan publik sangat diperlukan untuk memperkuat sektor UMKM berbasis MIT, yang pada akhirnya dapat memperkuat daya saing ekonomi Indonesia secara global.
