Pelatihan Literasi Media Digital sebagai Penanggulangan Dampak Negatif Internet pada Ketahanan Keluarga

Abstract


Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi tidak hanya memberikan dampak positif tetapi juga negatif bagi penggunanya. Salah satu dampak negatif yang sangat dikhawatirkan adalah konten-konten negatif yang dapat merusak nilai-nilai dan identitas bangsa. Selain itu, perkembangan tersebut juga dapat menimbulkan perubahan sosial dan mengancam ketahanan sosial psikologis sebuah keluarga. Misalnya saja dengan adanya teknologi, komunikasi orangtua dan anak secara tetap muka mulai berkurang intensitasnya. Masyarakat, khususnya orangtua, perlu dibekali dengan keterampilan literasi media digital agar dapat membentengi anak dari dampak negatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan literasi media ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu: (1) survei;( 2) pembuatan modul; (3) pelatihan; (4) evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan memperlihatkan bahwa, pasca pelatihan, pengetahuan peserta mengenai dampak negatif internet bertambah. Peserta mulai menyadari bahwa mereka memiliki peran penting dalam mengurangi dampak negatif. Selain itu, perserta juga berhasil memiliki keterampilan baru dalam melakukan aduan konten negatif di setiap media sosial.
